Welcome Note from Linda McGuire, Junior Convenor
On behalf of the Junior Committee and all our members, I would like to welcome all our new and existing Junior & Minor members to County Louth Golf Club.
The Junior Committee is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. We aim to deliver a range of golfing activities throughout the year and we will openly welcome the support of your parents and family.
We want you to reach your full potential and enjoy your time within golf. With this in mind, the club is looking forward to seeing you throughout the year and years ahead. The Junior Committee is always available to help you along your journey. Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions you may have.
Golf is a game for life, and we are immensely proud of our long history and achievements in the club. We hope all our Juniors will represent County Louth Golf club with honour and carry forward our traditions.

JUNIORS ELIGIBILITY
ELIGIBILITY TO PLAY IN MENS’ & LADIES COMPETITIONS
GIRLS
Junior girls are eligible to play in all Ladies competitions. They cannot win the 1st & 2nd prize in the 5 majors (Lady Captain’s, Lady President’s, Men’s Captains, Men’s President & Hamper) – they are eligible to win the gross and all class prizes
BOYS: - Singles
Junior boys who have a handicap of 15 or lower are eligible to play in all Senior Competitions, except Captain’s Prize, President’s Prize and Hampers
Junior boys with a handicap between 16 to 18 can play in a restricted list of competition (these competitions dates are confirmed annually)
Access to the timesheet is available 24 hours before the timesheet closes
Juniors may play with any member entered on the timesheet
A Junior category prize will be presented weekly for the best Junior score returned
Men’s Fourballs
All eligible junior may play but must partner with an Adult member (including Students & Intermediates) and are eligible for all prizes
Team Events
May win any prize – maximum of two junior members per team
