JB Carr

​We are delighted to announce that the Kilmashogue team won the first round of the JB Carr Diamond Trophy this afternoon beating Foxrock 3-2. It seemed at times that all was lost and a comeback was impossible but they fought back with a never say die attitude and were tenacious to the end. Our team consisted of Aidan Butler, Tony Bourke, Gerry Grehan, John Murphy, Robert Hayes, John Kinsella, Dan Meaney, Jim Nix, Marc Thornton and Ray Rogers.  Congratulations to all the players and also to the managers Brendan McGovern and James Hughes. On behalf of all the members we wish to thank you for your trojan efforts.  This was our first inter-club competition this year and hopefully our other teams will be encouraged to emulate your performance.
